Output from AuthorIT 4.0
This output sample was produced using AuthorIT 4.0 by Char James-Tanny of JTF Associates.
Notes from Char James-Tanny
- Because it isn't possible to apply manual formatting in AuthorIT, the items in the "Manual formatting" section all use character styles.
- Tables were not tweaked, as they required a lot of style editing to create the correct appearance.

Validation reports
In order for an HTML file to be valid, it must at minimum include both a DOCTYPE statement on the first line of the file and a <meta> tag specifying the correct character set for the file. The HTML file we produced with AuthorIT 4.0 contained both of these required elements. Both the HTML and the CSS file produced by AuthorIT 4.0 are valid according to W3C standards.
